Müfit Tolgahan came out of the goal and Elias Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Yağızhan Acıbadem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Flores da Cunha - RS's 方荣明 made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Müfit Tolgahan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Oğuz Gülle during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mustafa Oğuz Gülle hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Elias Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mecnun Başer made a kick off. 方荣明 scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Müfit Tolgahan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elias Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Tolgahan having to interfere. Elias Medeiros took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Müfit Tolgahan. Müfit Tolgahan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 方荣明 scored 6-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Müfit Tolgahan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, 方荣明 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flores da Cunha - RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Yağızhan Acıbadem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Mendes having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, 方荣明 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Müfit Tolgahan was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu hit a great ball. Müfit Tolgahan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute of the game, Elias Medeiros landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Habib Kutlar fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samsunspor's protests and gave Habib Kutlar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Flores da Cunha - RS booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habib Kutlar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samsunspor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
