In the 4th minute, Mats Linqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Florencio Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ildefonso Richie sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Temperley booed when SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Dropinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV got a corner. Temperley's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Olivar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Temperley's goalie and right to Froilan Donostia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Temperley's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Nereo Medero's late challenge caught a SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Medero helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Linqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Olivar in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Mats Linqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Temperley defense, Mats Linqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Eudoxio. The Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Eudoxio should have stopped the shot. After 38 minutes Temperley's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Olivar who took care of the corner kick. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Mats Linqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Richie made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Illart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Cutberto was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nereo Medero hit a great ball. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV made a substitution. Dave Signoretti replaced Mats Linqvist. In the 65th minute SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV were awarded a corner. Froilan Donostia went to the cornerflag to take it. Temperley's Pedro Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Signoretti in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Bittor to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Temperley's goalkeeper Pedro Eudoxio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Dave Signoretti made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Eudoxio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Dave Signoretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ildefonso Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Temperley's Gualterio Lopez got a free kick in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Gualterio Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV the free kick. After 82 played minutes Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Lopez. 83 minutes into the match, Dave Signoretti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Eudoxio, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Temperley's Gualterio Lopez got a free kick in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Dave Signoretti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Eudoxio. That made the score 0-5 after 87 minutes of play. With his leg Pedro Eudoxio managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Dave Signoretti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rodolfo Walme scored 1-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florencio Cutberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Temperley's goalkeeper Pedro Eudoxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Signoretti. The SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
