The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugen Remus made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ye Hong sent off a good shot on target. After 8 minutes of play, Abandon All Hope's Gilbert Gorzkiewicz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Abandon All Hope defense, Vecdi Başesgioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meng Yan Jing. The Abandon All Hope fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meng Yan Jing should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Gilbert Gorzkiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eugen Remus. The goal made the score 2-1. Will Alderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugen Remus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Arendarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Shakespeare in the 36th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Fu Wei Di. With a little luck, Greenbay's Eugen Remus got control of the ball when Ye Hong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vecdi Başesgioğlu took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meng Yan Jing. Meng Yan Jing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andre Shakespeare to make the kick off. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Shakespeare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Greenbay's Pau Torres got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Andre Shakespeare kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Meng Yan Jing. That made the score 2-3 in the 64 minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Will Alderson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Meng Yan Jing was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eugen Remus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Arendarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Michal Arendarski sped through Greenbay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugen Remus. With a little luck, Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing got control of the ball when Mato Špišić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Shakespeare in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Greenbay got a corner. Abandon All Hope's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tyler Morton ran over to the corner to take the kick. Greenbay's Lu Wagner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Meng Yan Jing in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 90 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Alderson. Tyler Morton charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tyler Morton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Greenbay got a freekick which was hit by Tyler Morton. Greenbay were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
