Balkes FC's Matthy Sommers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Cheng Xiang in the 4th minute of play. Alijilán returns's Aytuğ Aral has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wang Cheng Xiang in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthy Sommers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Co Bayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthy Sommers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Co Bayo ran back to his position shaking his head. Balkes FC's Matthy Sommers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Cheng Xiang in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wang Cheng Xiang in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthy Sommers saved Balkes FC from getting behind. Matthy Sommers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Cheng Xiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wang Cheng Xiang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Balkes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Cheng Xiang came free, but Matthy Sommers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Co Bayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthy Sommers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Wang Cheng Xiang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute, Wang Cheng Xiang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthy Sommers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 36 minutes, Wang Cheng Xiang made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Balkes FC's Matthy Sommers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Alijilán returns fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Alijilán returns's Wang Cheng Xiang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Balkes FC's Katia Ariza got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fonso Barreto to make the kick off. Alijilán returns's attentive Cipriano Tavio managed to snatch the ball when Dündar Tura made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Wang Cheng Xiang did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Matthy Sommers 54 minutes into the match. Wang Cheng Xiang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute Balkes FC were awarded a corner. Wim Roose went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Balkes FC booed when Alijilán returns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alijilán returns made a substitution. Sly Noble replaced Kieth Van Damme. After 67 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Leheren. Wang Cheng Xiang in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matthy Sommers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 75 played minutes Balkes FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Pizarro. The crowd rose to their feet as Wang Cheng Xiang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matthy Sommers. That made the score 0-5 in the 76 minute of play. Matthy Sommers was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Wang Cheng Xiang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wang Cheng Xiang really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Zoil Giralte scored 1-6 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Erauso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Alijilán returns booed when Balkes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoil Giralte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wang Cheng Xiang got free with Matthy Sommers in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, Dündar Tura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alijilán returns eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
