Spectators: 7262 (Terracing: 5582, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 105) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcos Bizi kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Santiago got free with Vladimiro Chuse in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Bizi in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Pinto saved C.A. Identidad Soberana from getting behind. After 7 played minutes C.A. Identidad Soberana got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Eneas. Chimborazo A.F.C's Marcos Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Bizi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Camilo Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimborazo A.F.C. Ernesto Pacifico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Pinto having to interfere. Marcos Bizi might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Pinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Bizi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Marcos Bizi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Chimborazo A.F.C's Ernesto Pacifico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Pinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Ernesto Pacifico made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Pinto. C.A. Identidad Soberana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The attack was good, but when Ernesto Pacifico in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ernesto Pacifico sped through C.A. Identidad Soberana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Pinto. Camilo Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Bizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ernesto Pacifico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Camilo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Chimborazo A.F.C were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leonardo Santiago made the kick off in the second half. Chimborazo A.F.C's Marcos Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Pinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Bizi went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Camilo Pinto was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Ernesto Pacifico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernesto Pacifico really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Napoleon Wolnik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Pinto. That made the score 0-7 in the 62 minute of play. In the 65th minute, C.A. Identidad Soberana's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aurelio Bernal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Camilo Pinto was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Aurelio Bernal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurelio Bernal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Chimborazo A.F.C's Marcos Bizi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Pinto. That made the score 0-9 after 71 minutes of play. In the 77th match minute, Chimborazo A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Bermudo to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Bizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aureliano Columbo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Identidad Soberana's protests and gave Aureliano Columbo a yellow card for diving instead. Aureliano Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Marcos Bizi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Camilo Pinto made a huge save. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Identidad Soberana's goalkeeper Camilo Pinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Chimborazo A.F.C getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marcos Bizi hit a great ball. Camilo Pinto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-10. With his leg Camilo Pinto managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Chimborazo A.F.C's Marcos Bizi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ernesto Pacifico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
