Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Iker Mincho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Alderson in the 9th minute of play. Andre Shakespeare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Iker Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Lorien came free, but Eugen Remus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Alderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Haroldo Lorien hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Will Alderson in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Mincho saved Alvarado de Mar del Plata from getting behind. Will Alderson struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Iker Mincho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenbay. After having played for 45 minutes, Haroldo Lorien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Lorien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Kang Feng was substituted for Jacobo Vincent. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Will Alderson to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Will Alderson in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Mincho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haroldo Lorien succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The supporters of Alvarado de Mar del Plata booed when Greenbay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Shakespeare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Mincho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Will Alderson's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Lennie Buckler came free, but Eugen Remus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Andre Shakespeare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Iker Mincho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Modesto Isadore struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Eugen Remus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvarado de Mar del Plata. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennie Buckler in the 89th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Eugen Remus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Andre Shakespeare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Mincho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Mincho came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Greenbay's Will Alderson. But to his dismay, Will Alderson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Greenbay's Eugen Remus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Lorien in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Greenbay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alvarado de Mar del Plata.
