After 40 played minutes, Xiboquinha FC's Tiberiu Jienescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rosendo Munio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xiboquinha FC reached it. 43 minutes into the match, Tage Backlund notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of El Ridiculo Football Club's Rosendo Munio.
