After the first half Atlético Unión Florida were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. But to his dismay, Afiq Shyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 77th minute Merlin Braddell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Drumeș in the 78th minute of play. AMED made a substitution. Gara Hee replaced Gică Drumeș. After 80 minutes Atlético Unión Florida's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexander Antonioni who took care of the corner kick. Flavio Pasquarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Musko in the 83rd minute of play. Flavio Pasquarelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Ong Sum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Erauso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Unión Florida left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AMED.
