Rosendo Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Percival, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute of the match, Cliff Kershaw got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rosendo Munio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. El Ridiculo Football Club's Remigio Gabrio was substituted for Eusebio Elorri. Sebastian Percival scored 2-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Munio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Club Atlético de Newell booed when El Ridiculo Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otso Lumio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Although Club Atlético de Newell had been in control for most of the match, El Ridiculo Football Club still came away with the win.
