Club Atlético Magallanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Rami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Sierocki scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarrett Rosenberg came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Magallanes's Jan Sierocki. But to his dismay, Jan Sierocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gavino Rami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 13 minutes, Jan Sierocki made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Sierocki's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Jan Sierocki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarrett Rosenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Gavino Rami sped through Cosmos Soccer Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. In the 27th minute, Ma Peng Yuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Ma Peng Yuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cosmos Soccer Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Ma Peng Yuan got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 36 minutes of play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Gavino Rami made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarrett Rosenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan Sierocki took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Salvadore in the 43rd minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Sierocki in the 45th minute of play. Best Jesus was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Fontenot made a kick off. If Gavino Rami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Sierocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 55th match minute, Club Atlético Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Naelio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club Atlético Magallanes getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leonardo Naelio hit a great ball. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Sierocki's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Sierocki in the 60th minute of play. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Cosmos Soccer Club from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Gavino Rami reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jarrett Rosenberg. The goal made the score 0-9. Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün was substituted for Jan Sierocki. After 72 minutes of play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarrett Rosenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taci Argün in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarrett Rosenberg saved Cosmos Soccer Club from getting behind. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Rami, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cosmos Soccer Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruperto Salvadore was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Magallanes's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Ma Peng Yuan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Cosmos Soccer Club's Robustiano Amor managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Naelio in the 93 minute of the game. In the 98th minute, Taci Argün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarrett Rosenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11.
