The referee ignored Black Dragons's protests and gave Linus Stuber a yellow card for diving instead. Linus Stuber hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Donovan Heath charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donovan Heath the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Heath. After 12 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Fontenot. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waud Soetemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waud Soetemans went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Shawn Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Linus Stuber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Black Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Buckinx to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes, Shawn Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosmos Soccer Club and the Black Dragons players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Shawn Romero got a free kick in the 27th minute. Patrick Fontenot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarrett Rosenberg was a little too slow when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0. 41 minutes into the game, Black Dragons's Waud Soetemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarrett Rosenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Fontenot was the one to do the kick off. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 58th minute of play. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of I Putu í Lon Jacobsen's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Brian Mendoza kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Black Dragons were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Cosmos Soccer Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raffaelo Anderegg took the corner. The corner ended in Stephane Pfiffer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg did a great save. 74 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Fontenot got free with Armin Bilodeau in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bodo Rodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When the referee ended the match the Black Dragons players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
