Pastor Chesus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute, Laurids Grejsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niki Bundev in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Chesus saved Bonival from getting behind. After 12 minutes, Freddy Valentine made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bonival's Pastor Chesus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurids Grejsen in the 15th minute of play forced Bonival's goalkeeper Pastor Chesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurids Grejsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Chesus having to interfere. The supporters of Yala booed when Bonival was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Hüseyin Erem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Frans took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pastor Chesus. Pastor Chesus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 24 minutes, Santiago Feo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yala and the Bonival players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Santiago Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonival's Pastor Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Valentine in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Bonival getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hasan Hüseyin Erem hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Raimundo Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Christiano Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonival's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christiano Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pastor Chesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niki Bundev's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Valentine in the 36th minute of play forced Bonival's goalkeeper Pastor Chesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yala were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Bonival's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raimundo Frans took the corner. Laurids Grejsen was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pastor Chesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Valentine in the 41st minute of the match. Bonival's Pastor Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Valentine in the 43rd minute of play. Pastor Chesus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Valentine went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Valentine to make the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Niki Bundev from a close distance when the talented Pastor Chesus managed to make a qualified save. Bonival's players were relieved. After 56 played minutes Bonival got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Munhoz. Pastor Chesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Valentine's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Niki Bundev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Chesus was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Pastor Chesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niki Bundev in the 64th minute. Pastor Chesus made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Laurids Grejsen sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Yala booed when Bonival was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Hüseyin Erem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Bonival was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasan Hüseyin Erem to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Yala's Edwin Söderberg got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Bonival's Pastor Chesus got control of the ball when Santiago Feo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bonival's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raimundo Frans was slow to take the kick. During this time Yala's players had a chance to rest. Pastor Chesus made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alberto Jaunti sent off a good shot on target. Niki Bundev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Chesus having to interfere. Santiago Feo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Alberto Jaunti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 94th minute, Alberto Jaunti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Yala supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yala would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
