Bartolo Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Lucila in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Victor Lucila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Salvator was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Liviu Frumușanu struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Bartolo Salvator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV. If Polo Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Victor Lucila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Salvator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were awarded a corner. Ernest Oprescu went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Liviu Frumușanu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Ernest Oprescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bartolo Salvator in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 32 minutes into the game, Polo Quinteros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dinu Oardă. Polo Quinteros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 38th minute, Victor Lucila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Salvator was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 41st minute, Mădălin Bărbuceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinu Oardă made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Vlad Enceanu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Frumușanu in the 45th minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Bartolo Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinu Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Enceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vlad Enceanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liviu Frumușanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bartolo Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's zone, Vlad Enceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Oardă came out of the goal and Vlad Enceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liviu Frumușanu in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bartolo Salvator, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. San Fernando Eagles's Vicente Sol was substituted for Vlad Enceanu. Ulysses Schmidt got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Polo Quinteros. If Polo Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Fernando Eagles made a substitution. Niceto Chorache replaced Roque Ariando. Liviu Frumușanu scored 1-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartolo Salvator, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd match minute, San Fernando Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. San Fernando Eagles's Bartolo Salvator proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save San Fernando Eagles from getting a goal against them. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Victor Lucila got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes in the game Ulysses Schmidt did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Victor Viator. Liviu Frumușanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Bartolo Salvator when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Lucila got free with Bartolo Salvator in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. San Fernando Eagles's Michael Stor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mădălin Bărbuceanu, made in the 89th minute of the game. San Fernando Eagles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Liviu Frumușanu scored to the left of an out of position Bartolo Salvator, making the score, 1-4. San Fernando Eagles's Bartolo Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Frumușanu in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than San Fernando Eagles throughout the match.
