The player immediately received a yellow card. Homer Childers hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris got free with Royce Rodriquez in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute of the match Jose F.C. got a corner. Marshrose's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ntinos Kaliakatsos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Jose F.C.'s Ntinos Kaliakatsos to fire away a dangerous shot which Royce Rodriquez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 14th minute of play. Heath Akins kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Marshrose's goalkeeper Royce Rodriquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sammie Laderoute hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Aris Zanteroglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bara Miss, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jose F.C.'s Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Marshrose from getting a goal against them. Royce Rodriquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The attack was good, but when Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris sped through Marshrose's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Royce Rodriquez. After 45 minutes of play Marshrose's Homer Childers was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Homer Childers hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

56 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris came free, but Royce Rodriquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Royce Rodriquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Jose F.C. were awarded a corner. Ntinos Kaliakatsos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ntinos Kaliakatsos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez did a great save. Royce Rodriquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Jaroslaw Dudkowski in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Marshrose's Edward Desilets. Aris Zanteroglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilber Padgett, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Charles Griggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Marshrose:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jose F.C.:s goal. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Jose F.C.. Periklis Pagopoulos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Royce Rodriquez. 2-1.
