The audience was convinced that Florencio Herbella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael de Carvalho was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Florencio Herbella notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the S.E. Cachoeirinha defense, Florencio Herbella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. The S.E. Cachoeirinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Ismael de Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Herbella went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Florencio Herbella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael de Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Florencio Herbella took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 31 minutes into the match, Florencio Herbella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Herbella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Herbella in the 33rd minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Secco during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Zé Recife fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Cachoeirinha's protests and gave Zé Recife a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Zé Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Florencio Herbella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Maturrango's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Herbella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Herbella stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atletico Maturrango were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after S.E. Cachoeirinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hitzeder Serans took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Marcial Zuazna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ismael de Carvalho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Florencio Herbella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismael de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Herbella, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Atletico Maturrango were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after S.E. Cachoeirinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hitzeder Serans took the corner. After 63 minutes of play, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ederono Ojero took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Marcial Zuazna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ismael de Carvalho made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Ederono Ojero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Maturrango fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. The supporters of Atletico Maturrango booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico Maturrango's Ederono Ojero was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ederono Ojero took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. In the 96th minute, Ederono Ojero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
