HALO HANGZHOU's Du Jie Ran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save HALO HANGZHOU from getting a goal against them. When HALO HANGZHOU's Desislav Sergeev in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E. Lin Yu Hai struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Betão de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HALO HANGZHOU. 18 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Lin Yu Hai came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Dorival Veloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Du Jie Ran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Desislav Sergeev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Du Jie Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Veloso in the 25th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Desislav Sergeev made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Betão de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desislav Sergeev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute S.E. Cachoeirinha were awarded a corner. Nilmar do Valle went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 38th minute Dorival Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du Jie Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Desislav Sergeev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HALO HANGZHOU's Du Jie Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Veloso in the 42nd minute of play. Du Jie Ran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederico Gomes in the 45th minute. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when HALO HANGZHOU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lin Yu Hai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Frederico Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Cachoeirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du Jie Ran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorival Veloso to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, HALO HANGZHOU's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Gomes came free, but Du Jie Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Desislav Sergeev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik McNamara came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Mai Tian Wei reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Betão de Amaral. The goal made the score 1-2. Qian Lin Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. Dorival Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Bo-Erik McNamara lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Betão de Amaral. 77 minutes into the game, Dorival Veloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HALO HANGZHOU the free kick. After 77 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Veloso. Elias Vianna's late challenge caught a HALO HANGZHOU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 81 in the game by Qian Lin Yu from a close distance when the talented Betão de Amaral managed to make a qualified save. S.E. Cachoeirinha's players were relieved. Betão de Amaral came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by HALO HANGZHOU's Qian Lin Yu. But to his dismay, Qian Lin Yu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. Du Jie Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The HALO HANGZHOU supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing HALO HANGZHOU would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
