Jack Ares succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.E. Cachoeirinha! The goalkeeper, Betão de Amaral, was totally fooled by Granicerul's Laurențiu Ciocâltea, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jack Ares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Betão de Amaral when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frederico Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Vuia having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Zé Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Logofătu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Betão de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Felix Logofătu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betão de Amaral was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Remus Vuia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Veloso in the 35th minute of the match. Cachoeirinha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laurențiu Ciocâltea was slow to take the kick. During this time Granicerul's players had a chance to rest. Betão de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Ares, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Betão de Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Ares's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Betão de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Brăescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Granicerul's Jack Ares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Logofătu in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Ares in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Zé Recife got a free kick in the 75th minute. Betão de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Ares in the 76th minute of play. Laurențiu Ciocâltea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Betão de Amaral. S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Felix Logofătu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Betão de Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The corner led Granicerul's Laurențiu Ciocâltea to fire away a dangerous shot which Betão de Amaral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Granicerul fully deserved thier win.
