Luís Islas had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping kaya Budak's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Aydın Mehmet made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Josue Montemayor sent off a good shot on target. Fidel Unax got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dante Urbes. Hektor Hasan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Islas having to make a save. 27 minutes into the match, Las 3R Club De Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Hektor Hasan came free, but Luís Islas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Montana were furious when Salih Birdal was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 35 played minutes FC Montana got a freekick which was hit by Salih Birdal. Aydın Mehmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Scifo in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes FC Montana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enzo Scifo who took care of the corner kick. Las 3R Club De Fútbol's Enzo Scifo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aydın Mehmet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hektor Hasan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Islas having to interfere. Luís Islas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hektor Hasan in the 46th minute of play. Luís Islas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürsel Sirer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Scifo was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, FC Montana's Hektor Hasan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Islas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Las 3R Club De Fútbol's zone, Hektor Hasan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Islas came out of the goal and Hektor Hasan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidel Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Gürsel Sirer charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürsel Sirer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Montana's Gürsel Sirer got a free kick in the 74th minute. Luís Islas made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Hektor Hasan sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Montana's Cazimir Encica got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Hektor Hasan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Islas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hektor Hasan got free with Luís Islas in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Las 3R Club De Fútbol's Luís Islas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Las 3R Club De Fútbol from getting a goal against them. When Iker Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Las 3R Club De Fútbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Cordairo couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Montana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
