Bartolo Harkaitz was slow to take the kick. During this time San Martin de Tucuman's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on San Martin de Tucuman's corner Bartolo Harkaitz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elias Urdaspal quite easily take care of the ball. Cecilio Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larkins Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Jax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Copil to strike the kick off in the second half. Ivan Copil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Urdaspal having to interfere. Ivan Copil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Copil in the 62nd minute of the match. Ivan Copil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Copil in the 63rd minute of play forced Wara's goalkeeper Elias Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Larkins Potter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cecilio Jax made a huge save. In the 71st minute San Martin de Tucuman were awarded a corner. In the 92nd minute Paulino Lamberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larkins Potter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Cecilio Jax made a huge save. 95 minutes into the game, Jiang Jun Yang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Martin de Tucuman's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wara the free kick. Jiang Jun Yang hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Cheb El-Hadi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cecilio Jax. San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wara eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
