The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Monky FC's Gregorio Cucao quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ragnar Strömbom, made in the 11th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Håkan Wennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monky FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Wennersten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Mei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the game, Håkan Wennersten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pablo Mei. Håkan Wennersten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 19 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Barros. 26 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Mannuel came free, but Pablo Mei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes Plaza Jewell's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andres Musko who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Monky FC's Håkan Wennersten getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 30 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Barros. In the 33rd match minute, Monky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Wennersten to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Igon. Andres Musko struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Pablo Mei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monky FC. In the 39th minute Håkan Wennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Mei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Mannuel was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Monky FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Obano. In the 54th minute, Salvador Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Mei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Mannuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Patricio Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Mei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Fabio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Mei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Mannuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Plaza Jewell getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Selim Urkan hit a great ball. Monky FC's Denis Sein was substituted for Patricio Mannuel. Monky FC's 汪杰桑 was substituted for Benicio Indalecio. In the 67th match minute, Plaza Jewell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selim Urkan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Håkan Wennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monky FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Wennersten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Mei came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Monky FC's Håkan Wennersten. But to his dismay, Håkan Wennersten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Pablo Mei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Sein, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Wennersten in the 79th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Emanuel Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Amato kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Plaza Jewell's Pablo Mei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Sein in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Selim Urkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selim Urkan kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Plaza Jewell's Pablo Mei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Wennersten in the 90th minute of play. Håkan Wennersten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Mei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Sein in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Mei saved Plaza Jewell from getting behind. Monky FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
