With a couple of smart ball manuevers Håkan Wennersten in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slavcho Kanov saved Legia Stavanger from getting behind. Håkan Wennersten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Slavcho Kanov came out and tried to block the shot, but Håkan Wennersten slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Håkan Wennersten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gjermund Viste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Monky FC booed when Legia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Musko came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Mannuel in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute Patricio Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavcho Kanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Musko charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Musko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Monky FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Musko. Slavcho Kanov made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Håkan Wennersten sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gjermund Viste was the one to do the kick off. When Tymur Dolganskyi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legia Stavanger's protests and gave Tymur Dolganskyi a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gjermund Viste in the 68th minute of play forced Monky FC's goalkeeper Felipe Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Legia Stavanger's Orest Bredun got a free kick in the 76th minute. Orest Bredun kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Wennersten came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Orest Bredun hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match Andres Musko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Slavcho Kanov skillfully saved the ball. Denis Sein might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slavcho Kanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Sein ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Abelardo Alonso sped through Monky FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felipe Tajo. 90 minutes into the game, Denis Sein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Slavcho Kanov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Sein in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slavcho Kanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Legia Stavanger's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
