Yoel Quevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Ricart in the 13th minute of the match. ManagerZone Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feliciano Mitxel in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Pennington in the 16th minute of play forced ManagerZone Academy's goalkeeper Paolo Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Recolta Alamor's Chris Bateman in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 36 minutes, Steve Hyuga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ManagerZone Academy and the Recolta Alamor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paolo Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanuel Pennington in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ManagerZone Academy's zone, Emmanuel Pennington stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Pereyra came out of the goal and Emmanuel Pennington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emmanuel Pennington scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Pereyra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute, Wes Nichols made a precise shot to the right of Paolo Pereyra. ManagerZone Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emmanuel Pennington made a kick off. A collision led to ManagerZone Academy getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Amancio Ricart hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Amancio Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Nichols came free, but Paolo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deshawn Souza hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Amancio Ricart kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 68 played minutes ManagerZone Academy got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Alvarez. In the 70th match minute, ManagerZone Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 71 minutes, Damian Dean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recolta Alamor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Dean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Pennington dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paolo Pereyra, 0-4. In the 76th minute Wes Nichols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when ManagerZone Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paolo Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Nichols, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Pennington came free, but Paolo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norman Donnelly's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Paolo Pereyra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
