Sugar Savier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Einar Åhman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute, Jakob Strand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Diniz got free with Sugar Savier in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehmet Ediz Yoran kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Tommy Simonsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annerstad IK and the Goiás Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Annerstad IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Annerstad IK:s Sugar Savier showed great skill when he stopped Valdir Neves:s penalty. After 26 minutes, Jörn Sundberg made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Einar Åhman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Sundberg in the 33rd minute of play. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Ediz Yoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Annerstad IK's Sugar Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Diniz in the 42nd minute of play. Umberto Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 played minutes Annerstad IK got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Simonsson. After a defensive mix-up in Annerstad IK's zone, Marcus Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sugar Savier came out of the goal and Marcus Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Goiás Esporte Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Annerstad IK were winning 0-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Diniz to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Jörn Sundberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Natanael Paraense, 0-4. 58 minutes into the match, Dênis Faria notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Annerstad IK's Sugar Savier. Sugar Savier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Annerstad IK's zone, Marcus Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sugar Savier came out of the goal and Marcus Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Annerstad IK's Håkan Wallengren got a free kick in the 67th minute. Annerstad IK's Dick Pettersson was substituted for Jörn Sundberg. In the 70th minute, Håkan Wallengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdir Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sugar Savier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 76th minute Annerstad IK were awarded a corner. Einar Åhman went to the cornerflag to take it. Einar Åhman made a great header on Annerstad IK's corner, it was just that Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense managed to reach the ball for a save. Annerstad IK's Sugar Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Peres in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Dênis Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Annerstad IK the free kick. The supporters of Annerstad IK booed when Goiás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Diniz in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sugar Savier saved Annerstad IK from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Marcus Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sugar Savier was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Natanael Paraense came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Annerstad IK's Mehmet Ediz Yoran. But to his dismay, Mehmet Ediz Yoran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Natanael Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Ediz Yoran in the 85th minute. The supporters of Annerstad IK booed when Goiás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense got control of the ball when Dick Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Natanael Paraense managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Annerstad IK's Dick Pettersson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Diniz in the 91st minute of play forced Annerstad IK's goalkeeper Sugar Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sugar Savier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Tomas Näver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Natanael Paraense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Annerstad IK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Goiás Esporte Clube.
