Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nasko Chandrev took the kick off in the first half of the match. Franciszek Burufski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alim Akkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Zé Carlos Mazza came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Franciszek Burufski could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor FK's Anastasio Amato got a free kick in the 12th minute. Franciszek Burufski came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Vasco FC's Moise Zgrăbunţa. But to his dismay, Moise Zgrăbunţa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Matheus Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Franciszek Burufski to make any attempt to save it. Matheus Amaral made a great header on Vasco FC's corner, it was just that Trabzonspor FK's Franciszek Burufski managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 23rd minute, Luiz Fabiano da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franciszek Burufski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alim Akkaya in the 27th minute. After 27 played minutes Trabzonspor FK got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Amato. In the 30th minute of the match Hen Zivon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franklin Bittencourt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Franciszek Burufski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Amaral in the 32nd minute of the match. Vasco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matheus Amaral in the 38th minute. The corner led Vasco FC's Zé Carlos Mazza to fire away a dangerous shot which Franciszek Burufski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Trabzonspor FK's Nasko Chandrev got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alim Akkaya to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Trabzonspor FK defense, Moise Zgrăbunţa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franciszek Burufski. The Trabzonspor FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franciszek Burufski should have stopped the shot. Alim Akkaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franciszek Burufski having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nasko Chandrev in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Bittencourt saved Vasco FC from getting behind. After 59 minutes, Raimo Odar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trabzonspor FK and the Vasco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor FK's Raimo Odar got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alim Akkaya in the 60th minute of play forced Trabzonspor FK's goalkeeper Franciszek Burufski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zé Carlos Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Vasco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Carlos Mazza couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Vasco FC's goalkeeper Franklin Bittencourt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nasko Chandrev. The corner ended in Matheus Amaral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trabzonspor FK's Franciszek Burufski did a great save. 72 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor FK's goal looked a bit too open when Alim Akkaya came free, but Franciszek Burufski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor FK's Carmelo Betito got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Raimo Odar kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Trabzonspor FK's Franciszek Burufski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alim Akkaya in the 84th minute of play. Franciszek Burufski came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Vasco FC's Matheus Amaral. But to his dismay, Matheus Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Vasco FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
