Pieter De Hond was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alim Akkaya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. After some careless play in the real dixmuda defense, Alim Akkaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pieter De Hond. The real dixmuda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pieter De Hond should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alim Akkaya got free with Pieter De Hond in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wanderson Urbano's late challenge caught a real dixmuda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Urbano helped the player get up and apologised. Pieter De Hond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aan 典韦 in the 72nd minute of the match. The real dixmuda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pieter De Hond should have stopped the shot. With his leg Franklin Bittencourt managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when real dixmuda's Alexandre Demeester fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th minute, Alim Akkaya made a precise shot to the right of Pieter De Hond. real dixmuda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Aan 典韦 took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pieter De Hond. Pieter De Hond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vasco FC fully deserved thier win.
