An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesc Labarra in the 18th minute of play forced Trabzonspor FK's goalkeeper Franciszek Burufski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xesc Labarra was the one to do the kick off. Xesc Labarra might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franciszek Burufski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Perez took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franciszek Burufski. Franciszek Burufski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0.
