An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Rodas in the 15th minute of play forced RIQUELME FC's goalkeeper Iwo Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwo Trzaskoma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Rodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bernad in the 29th minute of play forced Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Teodoro Peio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Alberto Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Atlético Nacional's Carlos Alberto Azevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwo Trzaskoma. Iwo Trzaskoma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Carlos Alberto Azevedo had several of the RIQUELME FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Iwo Trzaskoma as he didn't even see the shot coming. 39 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Bernad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIQUELME FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Nacional the free kick. If Vicente Sasoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Atlético Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Karmel. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Marco Sergi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Atlético Nacional getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Vicente Sasoin hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, RIQUELME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Rodas came free, but Iwo Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwo Trzaskoma saved RIQUELME FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Rodas in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwo Trzaskoma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute Atlético Nacional were awarded a corner. Baldomero Rodas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Atlético Nacional's Nicanor Karmel to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwo Trzaskoma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwo Trzaskoma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iwo Trzaskoma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Vicente Sasoin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iwo Trzaskoma didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Atlético Nacional's Carlos Alberto Azevedo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 88th minute, Carlos Alberto Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Iwo Trzaskoma. RIQUELME FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. There was no doubt that Atlético Nacional were the better team. Atlético Nacional's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
