Gil Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Hornilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Cordeara Sanjuan fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored One Piece FC's protests and gave Cordeara Sanjuan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, One Piece FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordeara Sanjuan to maneuver through the defense. Gil Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Hornilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when One Piece FC's Caio Hornilla fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Caio Hornilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Leme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Caio Hornilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caio Hornilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Gil Leme came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by One Piece FC's Caio Hornilla. But to his dismay, Caio Hornilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caio Hornilla in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Leme saved Acuña from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, One Piece FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordeara Sanjuan to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Quintyn shot from long distance in the 28th minute, but Inocencio Felipo was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Caio Hornilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caio Hornilla ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Acuña's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Hornilla came free, but Gil Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gil Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acuña's Gil Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Hornilla in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, One Piece FC's Caio Hornilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Leme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 43rd minute, Bernardino Serapio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Acuña players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. One Piece FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caio Hornilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caio Hornilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Leme having to interfere. Caio Hornilla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gil Leme firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Caio Hornilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. One Piece FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Hornilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gil Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Hornilla in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Acuña defense, Caio Hornilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Leme. The Acuña fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Leme should have stopped the shot. Gil Leme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caio Hornilla went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Cabezon in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocencio Felipo saved One Piece FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Caio Hornilla sped through Acuña's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil Leme. Inocencio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Serapio in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, One Piece FC's Caio Hornilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. One Piece FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
