Filiberto Luke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute Defensores de Belén were awarded a corner. Gaston Frantzes went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Defensores de Belén's corner Gaston Frantzes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filiberto Luke quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornelio Abastas during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cornelio Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Defensores de Belén got a freekick which was hit by Graham Ashton. Dante Erramu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Bernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cipriano Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Bernat got free with Dante Erramu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Erramu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Filiberto Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Ke Qiang in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Papato Tatengue booed when Defensores de Belén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Defensores de Belén getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cornelio Abastas hit a great ball. Victoriano Flor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Erramu. Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half Defensores de Belén were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Bernat to strike the kick off in the second half. Filiberto Flor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Papato Tatengue's Cipriano Bernat in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defensores de Belén's goalie prevented a goal. Filiberto Luke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tao Ke Qiang in the 57th minute. Defensores de Belén's Dante Erramu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Flor in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Cipriano Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Erramu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes in the game, Cipriano Bernat dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Defensores de Belén were furious when Cornelio Abastas was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 65 minutes into the game, one of Defensores de Belén:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dante Erramu had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Cipriano Bernat's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-1 came in the 68th minute when Cipriano Bernat all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Dante Erramu. Papato Tatengue's Victoriano Flor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Graham Ashton, made in the 74th minute of the game. Dante Erramu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Bernat's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Defensores de Belén's Dante Erramu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Bernat in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Tao Ke Qiang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de Belén's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papato Tatengue the free kick. If Cipriano Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Papato Tatengue booed when Defensores de Belén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Pazura didn't get a good kick on the ball. 99 minutes into the game, Cipriano Bernat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dante Erramu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Papato Tatengue's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
