The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Lendaa got free with Henrik Belkå in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Wild Bunch's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emílio Lendaa was slow to take the kick. During this time Primatas FC's players had a chance to rest. Primatas FC's Emílio Lendaa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henrik Belkå in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 24th minute, Primatas FC's Mai Bin Kuan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrik Belkå. Henrik Belkå yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Alvar Sellberg came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the The Wild Bunch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvar Sellberg couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Caetano Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Primatas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Wild Bunch the free kick. After 40 played minutes Primatas FC got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Arósio. Henrik Belkå showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Bin Kuan in the 44th minute of the match. If Mai Bin Kuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henrik Belkå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Bin Kuan in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
