With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Aguilera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 minutes, Maximo Cresenciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Diablos Rojos and the AF CERRADO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Diablos Rojos's Maximo Cresenciano got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute Doug Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Antônio Carlos Bueno made the kick off in the second half. Thiago Damião blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Aguilera having to make a save. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Aquilino Aguilera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Toninho Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Antônio Carlos Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquilino Aguilera was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Aguilera saved Los Diablos Rojos from getting behind. 85 minutes into the game, AF CERRADO's Antônio Carlos Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Aguilera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Los Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Cloyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Thiago Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Aguilera was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. AF CERRADO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
