The corner went over the outstretched arms of AF CERRADO's goalie and right to Janko Kaplan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AF CERRADO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. G.R.'s Matheus Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 9th minute of play. Arlindo Guedes came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by G.R.'s 袁昂宁. But to his dismay, 袁昂宁 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arlindo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamar Vang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 袁昂宁 in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matheus Toscano. G.R.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Carlos Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Matheus Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 袁昂宁 got free with Arlindo Guedes in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antônio Carlos Bueno made a great header on AF CERRADO's corner, it was just that G.R.'s Matheus Toscano managed to reach the ball for a save. 42 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Janko Kaplan came free, but Arlindo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on AF CERRADO's corner Jaime Pombal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matheus Toscano quite easily take care of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 袁昂宁 made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Antônio Carlos Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matheus Toscano was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Antônio Carlos Bueno sped through G.R.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matheus Toscano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yefet Bar-Zohar in the 91st minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Antônio Carlos Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matheus Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 93 played minutes G.R. got a freekick which was hit by Yashawn Kronfield. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AF CERRADO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
