Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Valette Stars from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Su to make the kick off. Adrien Tanneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Su in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Gipuzkoa in the 94th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
