Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Americo Rozarius made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CLATHU's goalkeeper Jacobo Peter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Su in the 5th minute of play forced CLATHU's goalkeeper Jacobo Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Primitivo Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Su in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute Damian Su shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos:s Emilio Munio showed great skill when he stopped Betinho Batista:s penalty. After 17 minutes Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Betinho Batista who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Mel in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Munio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CLATHU were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Betinho Batista took the corner. Jacobo Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig Rowley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Acercate Y Patea de Lejos were awarded a corner. Jose Gipuzkoa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jose Gipuzkoa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacobo Peter quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CLATHU's Jacobo Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig Rowley in the 31st minute of play. Damian Su received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jacobo Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Su in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Damian Su had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Peter. CLATHU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Su was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jacobo Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Rowley, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
