In the 21stth minute of the game Xu Zhen Ping who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Diablos Rojos's Aquilino Aguilera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xu Zhen Ping during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xu Zhen Pings short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Aquilino Aguilera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 41st minute, Rosendo Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a defensive mix-up in Los Diablos Rojos's zone, Xu Zhen Ping stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaetano Scirea during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
