In the 28th minute Guillaume Chaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Americo Rozarius to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrien Tanneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes Valette Stars's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Betinho Batista who took care of the corner kick. Pierre-Antoine Landemaine thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Adrien Tanneau, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 2-3. 58 minutes into the match, CLATHU's goalkeeper Jacobo Peter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafail Rusev. Adrien Tanneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valette Stars's Theo Chassot managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eduardo Esdras in the 62 minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, CLATHU's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Jacobo Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafail Rusev might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Peter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafail Rusev ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 72nd minute of play forced CLATHU's goalkeeper Jacobo Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Valette Stars walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
