After a defensive mix-up in Szolnoki MÁV's zone, Augusto Landero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mátyás Lisztes came out of the goal and Augusto Landero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Ilias Seichanidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Szolnoki MÁV from getting a goal against them. Augusto Landero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mátyás Lisztes came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Landero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Nasos Papadis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Roland Varga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilias Seichanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lajos Keresztesi in the 25th minute of the match. Ilias Seichanidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emesto Muñagorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Augusto Landero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mátyás Lisztes was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Landero came free, but Mátyás Lisztes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szolnoki MÁV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΟΦΗ the free kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mátyás Lisztes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Augusto Landero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Emesto Muñagorri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szolnoki MÁV's supporters rose to their feet, but Emesto Muñagorri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilias Seichanidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gedeon Csákvári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Seichanidis having to interfere. Emesto Muñagorri came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ilias Seichanidis could save by the left post. Augusto Landero took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mátyás Lisztes. Mátyás Lisztes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The audience was convinced that Gedeon Csákvári's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilias Seichanidis was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. When Gedeon Csákvári got free in front of the goal in the 82nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ilias Seichanidis was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Nikos Kanetos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΟΦΗ's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Kanetos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mátyás Lisztes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute Nasos Papadis collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 90 minutes, Csanád Újvári mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szolnoki MÁV and the ΟΦΗ players grew even worse after the yellow card. ΟΦΗ's Apostolis Kalopoulos was substituted for Nasos Papadis. Csanád Újvári kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Augusto Landero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mátyás Lisztes was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Augusto Landero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Lisztes having to interfere. ΟΦΗ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
