The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Mátyás Lisztes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mátyás Lisztes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Svan in the 4th minute of the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Mattias Svan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González got control of the ball when Emesto Muñagorri tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Csanád Újvári got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nacho González quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 10thth minute of the game Roland Varga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mátyás Lisztes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulizes Sola in the 12th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Mattias Svan made a precise shot to the right of Mátyás Lisztes. Szolnoki MÁV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Nacho González showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Varga, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Nacho González made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Emesto Muñagorri sent off a good shot on target. Nacho González stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Varga's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Szolnoki MÁV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Csanád Újvári in the 29th minute. The corner led Szolnoki MÁV's Csanád Újvári to fire away a dangerous shot which Nacho González despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goal looked a bit too open when Amin Kurd came free, but Mátyás Lisztes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amin Kurd came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Astillero del Guayas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amin Kurd couldn't finish the play. Roland Varga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mattias Svan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Mattias Svan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Lisztes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes got control of the ball when Amin Kurd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roland Varga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mattias Svan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Lisztes having to interfere. Mattias Svan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute Mattias Svan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Lisztes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amin Kurd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Lisztes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Varga in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nacho González prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Astillero del Guayas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Csanád Újvári was slow to take the kick. During this time Szolnoki MÁV's players had a chance to rest. Nacho González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lajos Keresztesi in the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's Mattias Svan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mátyás Lisztes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Roland Varga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szolnoki MÁV's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Varga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho González breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szolnoki MÁV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Csanád Újvári in the 94th minute. A nice corner shot did that Csanád Újvári got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nacho González quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Astillero del Guayas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Astillero del Guayas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
