The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Augusto Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Varga's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Adrián Császár was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Flórián Gera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rákóczifalva SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Flórián Gera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mátyás Lisztes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mátyás Lisztes made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Flórián Gera sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Mátyás Lisztes managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Rákóczifalva SE's Flórián Gera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flórián Gera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Mátyás Lisztes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adrián Császár kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Rákóczifalva SE's Flórián Gera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mátyás Lisztes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Soma Kovács was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rákóczifalva SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szolnoki MÁV the free kick. In the 31st minute Emesto Muñagorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Gedeon Csákvári got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Szolnoki MÁV getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Lajos Keresztesi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flórián Gera in the 38th minute of play forced Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Mátyás Lisztes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szolnoki MÁV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vadim Spãtaru was slow to take the kick. During this time Rákóczifalva SE's players had a chance to rest. Vadim Spãtaru made a great header on Rákóczifalva SE's corner, it was just that Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Rákóczifalva SE booed when Szolnoki MÁV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Keresztesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Botond Kondor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mátyás Lisztes skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flórián Gera to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flórián Gera in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mátyás Lisztes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flórián Gera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mátyás Lisztes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Rákóczifalva SE were awarded a corner. Vadim Spãtaru went to the cornerflag to take it. Emesto Muñagorri struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Pedro Augusto Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szolnoki MÁV. Rákóczifalva SE's Pedro Augusto Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Varga in the 58th minute of play. When Rákóczifalva SE's Flórián Gera in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 76th match minute, Rákóczifalva SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soma Kovács to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Rákóczifalva SE's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Varga came free, but Pedro Augusto Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Flórián Gera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Lisztes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mátyás Lisztes came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rákóczifalva SE's Flórián Gera. But to his dismay, Flórián Gera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 86 minutes into the match, Rákóczifalva SE's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emesto Muñagorri. Flórián Gera might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mátyás Lisztes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flórián Gera ran back to his position shaking his head. Mátyás Lisztes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flórián Gera in the 88th minute of play. After 93 minutes, Patrik Almási mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szolnoki MÁV and the Rákóczifalva SE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rákóczifalva SE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
