In the 12th minute, Edmundo Mendes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nacho González, passed just outside the right post. 14 minutes into the game, one of Astillero del Guayas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nacho González was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Edmundo Mendes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Mendes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 29 minutes into the game, Edmundo Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Nacho González was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Mattias Svan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Edmundo Mendes lined in a short shot 5-1 behind a frustrated Nacho González. Nacho González came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Playmobil FC's Edmundo Mendes. But to his dismay, Edmundo Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After 48 minutes, Amin Kurd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astillero del Guayas and the Los Playmobil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Playmobil FC booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amin Kurd didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Amin Kurd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Patora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Rito in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nacho González prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Los Playmobil FC's Edmundo Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacho González narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ildefonso Platini charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Platini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Los Playmobil FC's Ildefonso Platini got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th match minute, Los Playmobil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Platini to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulizes Sola in the 67th minute of play forced Los Playmobil FC's goalkeeper Borys Patora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borys Patora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulizes Sola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borys Patora made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Amin Kurd sent off a good shot on target. Astillero del Guayas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jiang Hui Guang in the 71st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Los Playmobil FC's goalie and right to Amin Kurd. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Los Playmobil FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Los Playmobil FC's Edmundo Mendes in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Mendes in the 82nd minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Nacho González to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Los Playmobil FC's Edmundo Mendes in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Astillero del Guayas's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Astillero del Guayas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Playmobil FC.
