Ants Ruut might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guga de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ants Ruut ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Balkiewicz got free with Marko Meerits in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marko Meerits stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmund Balkiewicz's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Ants Ruut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Guga de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Ants Ruut made the kick off in the second half. Julius Talumets charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julius Talumets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julius Talumets hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute Jeremias Luzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Meerits saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
