In the 16th match minute, Xandeco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Velloso to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lyuboslav Penev made a kick off. Antônio Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Lyuboslav Penev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Guga de Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmund Balkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. Edmund Balkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cláudio de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga de Azevedo having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Elói Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xandeco FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
