With his leg Jarbas Marques managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when La Maquina 9-12-18's Albert Gaardahl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Albert Gaardahl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Jarbas Marques when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, União Agrícola Barbarense's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Vachon came free, but Jarbas Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Gaardahl made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 39thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jarbas Marques would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Albert Gaardahl put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jarbas Marques. Jarbas Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vachon in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Albert Gaardahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarbas Marques was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the La Maquina 9-12-18 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
