When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Albert Gaardahl took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nilmar Furlan to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Gaardahl got free with Nilmar Furlan in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilmar Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vachon in the 22nd minute of play. The wind increased when Albert Gaardahl made the kick off in the second half. Nilmar Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Gaardahl in the 51st minute of play. Nilmar Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Vachon in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Maquina 9-12-18's Shpëtim Kume was substituted for Cléberson Prestes. REAL SUOMI CF's Jari Litmanen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bastien Domenge, made in the 67th minute of the game. André Forsberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Nilmar Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Baki Tecimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Carmelo Vachon took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilmar Furlan. Nilmar Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. REAL SUOMI CF's Jari Litmanen got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Gaardahl in the 81st minute of play forced REAL SUOMI CF's goalkeeper Nilmar Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Albert Gaardahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes REAL SUOMI CF got a freekick which was hit by André Forsberg. After 94 minutes of play, La Maquina 9-12-18's Carmelo Vachon made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilmar Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Maquina 9-12-18 had played much better football throughout.
