The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Jatsu got free with Jose Vimaro in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albert Gaardahl scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Rainerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Albert Gaardahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Albert Gaardahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Bastien Domenge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Gaardahl to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Jatsu in the 56th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Rainerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Vachon in the 59th minute. Copérnico F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Carmelo Vachon scored to the left of an out of position Amadeo Rainerio, making the score, 0-4. Amadeo Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Gaardahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Ahmet Baki Tecimer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmelo Vachon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 77th minute Carmelo Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the La Maquina 9-12-18 defense, Alvaro Montrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Vimaro. The La Maquina 9-12-18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Vimaro should have stopped the shot. Ermegildo Goizeder hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With 85 minutes on the clock, Ariel Delfino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Copérnico F.C.! When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, La Maquina 9-12-18's Albert Gaardahl got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Amadeo Rainerio. Albert Gaardahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeo Rainerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Gaardahl ran back to his position shaking his head. Igor Ignazio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The La Maquina 9-12-18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Maquina 9-12-18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
