The crowd rose to their feet as Yuri Tutorskiy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Lastur. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. Yuri Tutorskiy was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Yuri Tutorskiy kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 24thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Leones FC's keeper Leopoldo Lastur was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 25 minutes, Dario Gaizko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the Nitra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Dario Gaizko got a free kick in the 25th minute. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Wilfredo Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Quinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yuri Tutorskiy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leopoldo Lastur firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Ignacio Cayo got a free kick in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 51 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Chaves. Alejo Louis made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nicanor Florinio however managed to control. Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Tutorskiy in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Charles Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Alejo Louis made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nicanor Florinio however managed to control. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Tutorskiy in the 63rd minute of play. Leopoldo Lastur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Williams Ferrari's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Asier in the 78th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Tutorskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Tutorskiy in the 89th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Williams Ferrari might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Lastur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Williams Ferrari ran back to his position shaking his head. Ignacio Cayo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
