Yuri Tutorskiy started the match with the kick off. Ciro Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Jerônimo Maranhense made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Brasil got free with Jerônimo Maranhense in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Brasil. A nice corner shot did that Williams Ferrari got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paredes Fortes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Williams Ferrari sped through AKI CORINTHIANS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paredes Fortes. After 20 played minutes AKI CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Tinoco. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Tutorskiy in the 21st minute of play. Ciro Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jerônimo Maranhense made a huge save. Paredes Fortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Tutorskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Brasil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Jerônimo Maranhense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Maranhense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Tutorskiy in the 40th minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Williams Ferrari got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paredes Fortes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Pimenta in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense got control of the ball when Ciro Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oscar Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Brasil in the 60th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nitra FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Yuri Tutorskiy hit a great ball. Yuri Tutorskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Paredes Fortes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paredes Fortes was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Yuri Tutorskiy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yuri Tutorskiy really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Williams Ferrari in the 69th minute of play. Alfred Schrijns hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Charles Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Nitra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Pimenta couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when AKI CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Williams Ferrari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Williams Ferrari got free with Paredes Fortes in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paredes Fortes made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Yuri Tutorskiy sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Anier Larra got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Nitra FC got a corner. AKI CORINTHIANS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charles Pimenta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Charles Pimenta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paredes Fortes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 92 minutes of play, Nitra FC's Williams Ferrari made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paredes Fortes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Nitra FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AKI CORINTHIANS throughout the match.
