Thanks to some nice moves Aytekin Akkın could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Thierry Emry FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
