The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Brasil got free with Leopoldo Lastur in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Leopoldo Lastur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leopoldo Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Brasil in the 10th minute. Leones FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after AKI CORINTHIANS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dante Mannie took the corner. Leones FC's Dante Mannie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paredes Fortes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 19 minutes of play, Leones FC's Wilfredo Quinto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paredes Fortes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Lastur made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ciro Brasil sent off a good shot on target. Paredes Fortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Alejo Louis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the AKI CORINTHIANS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Louis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Quinto in the 49th minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Ciro Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Quinto got free with Paredes Fortes in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 57 minutes, Albino Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 68th minute of the match AKI CORINTHIANS got a corner. Leones FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfred Schrijns ran over to the corner to take the kick. AKI CORINTHIANS's Alfred Schrijns was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leopoldo Lastur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Ciro Brasil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Brasil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Brasil in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Lastur saved Leones FC from getting behind. Paredes Fortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Florinio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paredes Fortes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Florinio in the 92nd minute of the match. Alejo Louis made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AKI CORINTHIANS's Oscar Simões. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Brasil in the 96th minute of play.
