Christian Salamonsen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. 3 minutes into the game, one of Vestfjorden FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 7thth minute of the game Cosimo Grilli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led Vestfjorden FK's Jørund Sætra to fire away a dangerous shot which Paredes Fortes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Albino Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gil Ceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes got control of the ball when Ousmane Diallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gil Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Grilli in the 23rd minute of play. After 32nd play minutes Ousmane Diallo shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Paredes Fortes and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Vestfjorden FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Kaldestad to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Ciro Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Ceni having to make a save. After 44 played minutes Vestfjorden FK got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Kaldestad. After 48 minutes of play, Vestfjorden FK's Ousmane Diallo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paredes Fortes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ousmane Diallo made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ousmane Diallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paredes Fortes was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ousmane Diallo in the 56th minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes AKI CORINTHIANS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jørund Sætra who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Cosimo Grilli managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Grilli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paredes Fortes was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Leonard Polek kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ciro Brasil hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Paredes Fortes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Hesjedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vestfjorden FK's Gil Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Castro in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Vestfjorden FK got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Polek. In the 80th minute, Leonard Polek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vestfjorden FK's zone, Ciro Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Ceni came out of the goal and Ciro Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ciro Brasil could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Gil Ceni however easily saved by the left post. Ciro Brasil came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gil Ceni could save by the left post. AKI CORINTHIANS were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Vestfjorden FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfred Schrijns took the corner. 93 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Ousmane Diallo came free, but Paredes Fortes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paredes Fortes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jørgen Holmgren in the 96th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ousmane Diallo in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Fortes saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. Vestfjorden FK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
